Rose had just finished her class and she was still fuming from the stupid angel and her brother telling her what to do and how to do it. She was a young woman for goodness sakes... She stormed into a student and dropped her notebook with all her papers. "Hey watch where your going!" He screamed as he hurried down the hall with his mates leaving her to gether her things. She put all her papers together. It was then that she noticed through an open classroom a beautiful Black piano standing against a window at the end of the room. She slowly straightened up and walked inside dropping her book on a table and walking over to the piano not even noticing the name on the classroom door... Her fingers traveled over the keys. She slipped onto the stool and started to play... www.youtube.com/watch?v=ls7ila3srzI

Guardian walked along the hallways, after his little conversation with Jack. He was an interesting young man, and he couldn't wait to talk to him some more. Sighing, he headed towards his classroom to get ready for the next lesson and stopped in the hallway outside. Unbidden, the words formed in his head. Humming softly he listened to the player and smiled. He swayed from side to side, moving his hands in a conducting motion. After, the last notes of the song he poked his head in and raised his eyebrows in shock. "Well... I didn't expect this..."

Rose looked up and then gave a little cry and jumped to her feet. "What you following me around now." She said slightly moody. She gave him a glare then moved from the piano to get her things. "Did Jack put you onto it?" She spat at him and hugged her books close.

He raised his hands in a defensive posture as he walked into the room and cut off her exit with his wings. "Your brother had nothing to do with this as this IS MY classroom and I happen to have a spare right now." He looked around the room and to the books in her arms. "The question is Rose, What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in your class right now?" He was just a little mad at Rose for her earlier behavior but now he was more intreged than mad.

"I only have one class in this place. Power Management. Jack and me are doing a major in music. " She looked over her shoulder at the piano and back at him. "It needs tuning." She bit her lip and dropped her eyes then cleared her throught. "I um... am sorry for earlier. I hate being around... strangers." She shrugged. "Its not like I need the classes. My mother thinks it will keep me away from my older sister so she keeps filling my days with stupid things like Power Managment classes even though she taught us both the minute we had our power." She gave him a please forgive me look tilting her head to the side.

Guardian sighed. "I now, but i can't find a piano company that would be fast about the job. " That was one of the done falls about being a music teacher at a mutant high. When you need a new piano or it tuned, it was hard to tell the students that they couldn't use their powers for 3 hours. Someof them were obvious that they were mutants, and they would have to be shoved in their rooms for a great amount of time. "That's alright. I was like that when i came to the school." He locked his eyes with her. "That dosen't matter Rose, you should still attend that class, because if you were out in public and something happened...' he needn't say more. A few weeks ago, a mutant was found out in the open and he had been beaten to death out of fear by the humans.

She gave a sigh and dropped her gaze from his. She smiled softly. "Yeah I'll stay I geuss." She looked over her shoulder at the piano once again. "If you'll allow me on that beautiful thing over there as much as I want..." She turned her smile onto him. "If your not busy with classes that is. " She put her books down again. "I can tune it for you." She turned and walked back to the piano and patted the stole. "Sit there quick before your class comes." She then moved to gently lift the lid and prop it up. "I need you to play each note I ask you..." She said and started to work on the E strings first.

Guardian smiled. He had gotten throught to her. "I always have 2 hours free after lunch. And your more than welcome to it. Unfolding his arms, he walked towards the piano, and sat down on the stool and placed his fingers on the keys ready to help her.
The proscess went on for an hours and at the end, Guardian wa smiling. "There," he said, patting the piano fondly. "Now the choir will actually be able to sing in tune."

She sighed and closed the lids then stood back and dusted off her hands. She gave a laugh at his coment then walked over to the table that had her books on. She gathered them in her arms again not looking at him untill that very moment. She slowly lifted her eyes to him and gave a soft smile. "I geuss you can now enjoy your last hour of your lunch in peace." She turned to leave glancing back at him.

Guardian got out of the piano bench and spread his wings blocking the exit. "please, don't go...' He blushed a bit and then folded his wings back a bit. "I mean... I have nothing to do for the rest of my lunch. You're more than welcome to stay, if you would like."

She startled as he once again blocked her way but instead of her usual Rose glare she smirked at him. "Are you always gonna block my exits?" She asked gently titling her head to the side. "It depends what were gonna do for lunch. You'd have to think of something besides piano tuning. As much as I adore the instrument tuning it for an hour is a bit mind numbing." She glanced down at her books then formed a picture of her car seat. "Car." She said firmly. The books glowed then disappeared out of her hands.

Guardian shrugged. "usually I sit in my office and have a nap, but this seems far more interesting." He scratched his head with a finger. "Do you wanna go get something to eat, a coffee. talk about things?" He wanted to get to know her better, and he wanted to find what made her so aggressive to people at first.

She smiled and gave a shrug. "I don't eat much but coffee sounds good." She held open her hands and thought about what she wanted to summon. "Car keys." They appeared in her hand. "Wanna go into town?" she threw the keys in the air and caught them. She raised an eyebrow at him. "I'm sorry but these four walls of this institute. Its like a jail for mutants. I don't know how you cope?"

Guardian shrugged as he went to his office to grab his bindings. "It's hard for the first few months but you get used to it. I remeber for the first few months that i was here, I had to fly around the city for hours until i could return." Taking off his shirt, he folded his wings against his back and threw his harness across his chest and wrapped it around his wings. Buckling up the straps, he put his shirt back on and held his arms out for inspection. "What do you thin k?"
